Youth & Adult Assessments

Assessments are an important tool to aid in obtaining tailored treatment, gaining self-awareness, and accessing appropriate supports. At CASA, we provide a diverse range of assessments for youth (ages 13-17) and adults (ages 18 and up), encompassing general mental health assessments and neurodevelopmental assessments, including:

  • Mood Disorders
  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Personality Disorders
  • Pain and Disability
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Intellectual Developmental Disorder (IDD)

  • Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)

Our assessments may involve a combination of clinical interviews, caregiver involvement (for adolescents), questionnaires, and direct testing of cognitive, educational, or executive function skills, tailored to address specific concerns.

The cost of our assessments typically range between $3500 and $4250, depending upon the complexity of the issue being addressed.

You may have insurance coverage available through an extended health plan. We encourage you to contact your insurer to explore available coverage options.

We also provide assessments through third parties, including the Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB), Saskatchewan Government Insurance (SGI), Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) and disability insurance companies.

For further information or to schedule an assessment for yourself or your child, please don’t hesitate to contact our office. We are here to support you in your path towards improved mental health.
