Nicole Anderson, Ph.D.

Dr. Nicole Andersen (Registered Doctoral Psychologist #1328) earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan, where she also completed her B.A. (Honours) in Psychology. She completed her predoctoral residency with the Saskatchewan Health Authority, where she gained broad experience through the Lifespan Rotation at CASA. Nicole has worked with children, adolescents, and their families across diverse settings, providing both therapy and assessment services. She also has experience offering individual therapy to adults.

Nicole is dedicated to supporting the unique emotional and developmental needs of her clients across the lifespan. She takes a client-centred approach, viewing mental health through a developmental lens that considers how early experiences, family dynamics, and current life stressors shape emotional functioning and coping patterns. Her therapeutic work emphasizes creating a safe, nurturing environment where clients can openly explore their experiences, build insight, and develop effective coping strategies.

Nicole utilizes evidence-based treatments, with a particular focus on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, to address concerns such as anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, ADHD, and behaviour management challenges. When working with children and adolescents, she supports the whole family by involving parents in the therapeutic process, where appropriate, to navigate challenges and foster healthy communication at home. In her work with adults, she provides individual therapy tailored to each person’s unique strengths, needs, and goals. In addition to providing therapy, Nicole also offers comprehensive assessments for Specific Learning Disorders, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and general mental health in children and adolescents.
